Finny was able to convince Gene to do almost all of what he wants to do. He also showed his leadership when he gathered a lot of students and taught him new games that fit his strength. They showed these skills when Kurtz entered the tomb of cannibalism and had the courage to persuade them to give ivory or to tell them they knew something was there.
