Everything depends on something in the world, regardless of life, inanimate objects, tangible or intangible. Power acts to expose it to other factors such as society, law, institution, religion, self-expectation etc. People who can force these forces to other people without retaliation have all their power. However, electricity is actually rotting, and rarely it is virtually impossible for electricity to still be completely absolute. The military is trying to overthrow absolute power, but since the military is trying to maintain power, the concept of "relationship between subjectivity and power" is always repeated.
The rise of social media is predicting what Michael Foucault predicted with well-known famous text about panorama. Panoramaism is a concept derived from the viewpoint of Jeremy Bentham's surveillance. Bentham has a basic circular monitor that contains a central tower surrounded by cells. There are observers in the central tower and there are prisoners in the cell - depending on the usage of the building, these prisoners can be translated into children or workers (Foucault 200). I will illuminate the cell with a bright light on the tower so that the observer can observe the subject without seeing it. People in the cell think that they are constantly being observed, as bright light prevents them from seeing them from observers. Therefore, they changed their behavior so as to meet the requirements of the prison and not to be punished.
Michael Foucault: Panopticism is an article about ongoing supervision and its impact on behavior from the perspective of an individual social norm. Continuous monitoring may also affect institutions such as prisons. Round prison is a design of a prison where the building is cylindrical. The prisoners are invisible to each other, but security guards / towers built in the middle of the building are visible. However, security guards are not necessarily observed in the tower
Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter reinforce the concept of panorama. But the models they do are more complicated due to the hidden features of physical observation. With Foucault's panorama, prisoners can see the towers and lights that build monitoring proof (208). However, despite the fact that millions of users are widely adopting social media, individuals can not judge the degree of monitoring. People understand that their activities are being monitored, but they can not determine the scope or parameters of monitoring. Unlike the Foucauldian panopticon, the Fopcauldian panopticon has a central tower for asymmetric surveillance. However, social media has similar impacts on people. Michael Foucault's view of the panorama is based on Bensham's architectural image
