Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God. Does Jesus of Nazareth exist? There are definitely four main perspectives on these issues. Many people simply answer the second question and leave it there. Some say that Jesus of Nazareth exists in history, but they believe that he is the only good moral teacher. Other people agree that Jesus is present, but he is not only a moral teacher, it is also a prophet who regards him as a god. The last group of people answered yes to these two questions.
If 99% of people are convinced that Jesus is not God, how can we believe in Him? For those who are almost completely convinced of the reason of Jesus' being not God, they seem to be impossible to be a Christian. That is a problem. Because the church emphasizes rationalism very much, people who do not regard Jesus as the most realistic story can not become Christians. The church asks the members to believe in Jesus, and their so-called beliefs are cognitive understanding and promotion. You must think that Jesus is a God to be a Christian.
For most Christians in the past 2000 years, the identity of Jesus was defined by the New Testament. Jesus Christ who does not meet the New Testament is by definition not Christian Jesus. One of the heresy of the early church was adoption. It was believed that Jesus was originally a person, but in Baptism I was adopted by God. For adoption, the father of the Church pointed out the testimony of the New Testament that Jesus is always God. As a boy, Luca says that Jesus "grows with wisdom" (Luke 2: 52), but the church teaches that this is "his humanity is ordered by his divinity" (Jerome), or sacredness, "he created his own human progress in wisdom and grace" (John of Damascus). As Athanasius said in the fight with Aryans, there is no son when God is not a god.
It is German Hermann Reimals that has the greatest influence on historical Jesus' research. His work entitled "Apologize for reasonable worship of God". Reimarus believes that only rational religion can benefit humanity. He also believes that the good defense of rational religion also includes attacks on traditional Christian beliefs. Rather than establishing a new religion, Jesus thinks that he does not intend to express himself as a political savior, releases Jews from Roman power, and reestablishes independent secular Israel. When the kingdom was established, the disciples of Jesus hoped to share power and wealth with him. When Jesus was crucified, the disciples invented the idea of redemption and declared mistakenly that Jesus was raised from death. Reimarus argues that they did this to gain the power and influence they expect to offer to them.
