Savannah, Georgia State is a city with a long history. Under the influence of fire, yellow fever, and war, people will think that this city should not be too much. Instead, you will discover beautiful buildings, lovely cafes, tasty restaurants, tasteful shops, charm of the south, even ghosts that you could not have stayed at home long ago.

I want to go to Savannah for many years - when we lived in Florida, we had only a six hour drive. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side, and as we would like we can not participate on the weekend expedition. We currently live in Minnesota, but the recent trip to Florida 's TBEX travel blog meeting has given us a wonderful opportunity to plan a detour.

We are planning to spend the night, but it is foolish to find out that the storm is spreading. So our plan changed at the last minute, and we decided to go after a short exploration. We will not be a problem because of the future flash flood.

Even with our short visit, we were still able to pack quite a few things. Some of our sites include visiting Bonaventure Cemetery, visiting historic cemeteries, walking in rivers and plazas, watching cute boutiques, drinking coffee shops in the Collins area. And watch luxurious architecture and mossy trees

Savanna is a beautiful city, so I would like to return again. One day it may happen, but before that, we saw the side of Savannah, Georgia, we happened to explore

Savanna (/ səvænə /) is the oldest city in Georgia, the county seat of Chatham County. Savanna was founded in the Savanna River in 1733, became the British colonial capital of Georgia, and became the first capital city of Georgia thereafter. Savannah is a strategic port city between the American Revolutionary War and the American Civil War and is now the center of industry and an important port of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the fifth largest city in Georgia and has a population of 146,444 in 2017. The population of the Savannah Metropolitan area, the third largest city in Georgia, is estimated at 387,543 in 2017.

By 1870 the Georgia Central Railway, Savanna and Charleston, and the three main railroads in Savannah and Bay connected the city to the coastal and inland markets. The main shareholder in central Georgia State is Savanna, which established its own marina and the existing canal of the Savanna River. This shows the first change in industry - commercial activity outside the city center plan. In 1887, another railroad extended from Drayton Street Station to Tybee Island. One cents per mile, or 17.7 cents per trip, residents of the city can escape the sea and spend a new leisure at Thai Bee Beach. This was the first commute from Savanna to the surrounding area.

Savannah is one of the most famous and beautiful towns in the south, with several universities, especially the Savannah College of Art and Design. Savannah is located in the middle east coast of Georgia, close to Tybee Island. Savanna is known for its beautiful historical district and Forsyth park area. Savannah also has nice boutiques and local restaurants. Employers of university graduate Savannah include Hunter Army Airport and Georgia Port Authority.
