Melting planet Most glaciers and ice sheets are in the area where humans live, but they are important for society and the global environment. Due to human activities over the past two centuries the temperature of the earth is rising at an alarming rate. The rise in temperature led to an overall reduction in global ice, including rapid depletion of mountain glaciers. Since the influence of melting glaciers will have a big influence on the future of humankind, it is important to understand glaciers well.

For a long list of problems affecting our world, we add lists of problems caused by anxiety - corrupted democracy, global inequality, heightened extremism, growing authoritarianism - can do. The scandal wave is painfully evident. Abuse of power is a massive epidemic. Absurdity is gender, emotion, physical, social, and in many respects powerful people are exposed as abusers.
