A Life of Poverty: Childhood Traumas inThe Working Poor

In David K. Shipler's "Working the Poor", Shipler analyzed the impact of poverty in the United States and the responsibilities of poor workers. Chapter 6 of the book focuses on childhood traumas that affect life after their own. In this chapter, Shipler talks about factors that lead to sexual abuse within family, neglect of child rearing, and other poor living. He has real experience and his childhood influence on his or her life. His example is based on the real life of American poor people, but it seems that he has found the most extreme case.

Compared to most death row prisoners, the stories of their lives are often characterized by poverty, mental disorders, and childhood trauma, Scott Dozier is privileged. His father worked on the Federal Water Project throughout the Western Region, and Dozier moved to a different suburban with his parents and two brothers and sisters every few years. But he quickly and constantly rebelled and sold marijuana and LSD at high school. Doshie married a high school girlfriend, and they have a son. While the military was paused, he worked at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, wore a gold brocade and a tiger skirt, and drove a tank with a dinner called "Wind of God". He is a talented pastel painter and believes his life may work if he finds a mentor. By the time he was in his twenties, he was doing a stripper to make it beautiful, but his main income comes from what he started and sold when he jumped between Nevada and Arizona came.

Charles Dickens is a defender of the poor in his life and work. His childhood included part of the poverty of England's poverty as he worked as a child in the factory to help his family. His father, John Dickens, continued breaking his life and finally went to the debtor's prison. Charles was forced to leave school, earning six shillings per week, and started working at the blackened warehouse of Warren for 10 hours. In this novel and Barnabilich, Dickens created a reliable role considering the mobility of the mob. The reasons for the lower class revolution are obvious and are shown in the novel. Some of his roles, especially Mrs. Defarge, have no restrictions on their revenge against their crime.

What the United States will do instead leads to crime, trauma, violence and deprivation. These will lead to spiral drops. Poverty causes more poverty. English course system can create poor people more and more. This is what you are doing. This is a unique formula. If you want a zombie society, a poor society, proceed like you. Like the Third World countries, the United States is even ridiculous. Wonderful experiments are always myths, but that is a good thing. We will be diamonds. Some people can be big, many people can realize the American middle class dream, and a few people will become poor.
