The poem entitled "Kite is a Victim" by Leonard Cohen contains a variety of metaphors. Through my own analysis, I propose that the author's central focus is life. Cohen discusses the relationships and outcomes we have done in our lives. In my opinion, a kite is a metaphor of the essence of life and life. Each of the four sections of poetry starts with a metaphor. In any case, the tenor is a kite. These metaphors are analyzed based on the central theme of poetry.

Kite running is a popular sport in Afghanistan. Children skip kites, but their aim is to cut off other kites. The goal of the kite runner is to find the falling kite, and the final prize is the last kite that fell. In the kite runner, Amir is the kite flyer and Hassan is the kite player. Because of Hassan's Hatharathi, he can not just become a kite player. The relationship between the kite flyer and the kite athlete extends the social and class differences between the two races. Amir is responsible because he is a kite flyer in the case of a kite on Hassan. Under the command of Amir, Hassan will be able to regain the last fallen kite. "Pashtun - Look at Hazaras as heathen, animals, etc." (Zabriskie 1). Hassan responded like a faithful puppy: "Take it thousands of times for you!" (Hosseini 67). Here, Hassan works to find a kite for his owner.

Amir is a very motion intellectual who likes to fly kites when speaking stories in kite runners. His servant and friend, Hassan, had a wonderful gift to know where the shot down kite fell, so he was able to quickly retrieve the shot down kite. In spite of the process of this story, Amir wanted to do the right thing, from an awkward, loving, awkward coward to a conscience and a humble person. At the beginning of the kite runner, Amir was a boy who lived with his father Baba because his mother died. He is jealous of his father's concern about Hassan. Hassan has more qualities than Baba wants to see for his son. Therefore, there is an uneasy friendship between Amir and Hassan, he forgives Amir every time he deceives him or uses it.
