Ron Suskind's expectation for the future is a shocking story for future teachers. It brings hope to all students who try to succeed in their lives. It highlights the importance of teacher expectations, human capital and cultural capital. It includes finance issues and independence of standardized tests. Cedric Jennings' life is easy. Although he did not have the opportunity to walk on this short and easy path, he was always forced to go a long and winding road; in the case of Cedric, it led to a gradually successful world.
In this story "Invisible hope", we are seeing young people with great potential trapped in school, but under normal circumstances, it is difficult for him to proceed like an ordinary student is. Our protagonist Cedric often encounters the possibility of opposing him, but he strives to achieve so much in his life. In this book he sees that most of us experienced many victories and failures that we can not imagine in our own life. The main supporter of Cedric 's life was his mother Barbara. She is a very pious and considerate mother and she has many difficulties in her life, including the birth of Cedric, as Cedric's father wants her to have an abortion. When Cedric himself got lost, she always helped Cedric find the way he needed it. Another big supporter in the early days of this book is Taylor, a science teacher at Cedric.
Ron Saskind's "Invisible Hope" is an impressive novel that shows young people who freshmen in the first year after high school graduation at Brown University. The most interesting part of the story is that the hero's Cedric Lavar Jennings comes from a particularly unique background. His father was a drug addict, he put half his time in jail and the other half was parole due to the work he was looking for. Therefore, in addition to Cedric being in contact with him several times in prison, Gilliam has little role as a parent. Instead, Cedric's mother Barbara is a wonderful human being
Reading this book, hope of not seeing is an experience I will never forget. It is almost unbelievable to understand how different races handle different situations. Some things are handled differently, then Caucas like me think that it will be disposed of. If a white man makes himself a different ethnic role, in this novel it is an African American. This is something I have to do when I read this book.
