Many students such as Jacob Rosenberg and Frida Short Miller continue pursuing an excellent career in art history. He introduced a scientific approach to art history focusing on three concepts. First, he tried to study art in psychology, especially William Undo's work. Among other things, he believes that art and architecture are good if they resemble the human body. For example, if their front looks like a face, that house is good. Secondly, he introduced the idea of studying art through comparison. By comparing the pictures, he can distinguish style. His work "Renaissance" and "Baroque" developed this idea and showed how these styles are different from each other for the first time.
