A Historical View of The Three Musketeers

In Alexander Dumars' novel 'Three Musketeers', King King Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu are in power in France, everyone is trying to gain absolute power. A writer Alexander Dumas represents D'Artagnan and three Musketeers as good people of this book, Milady and Cardinal Richelieu represent evil. Because of the heroic deeds of d'Artagnan, he is good at defeating evil. D'Artagnan is the protagonist of the story. Since he wanted to be a musketeer, he wrote a letter of introduction to his father's friend Monsieur de Treville, the captain of the musketeer so he was able to join the Royal Academy. On the way to Paris where Mr. Trevel was, he was robbed and his letter was deprived. He was still able to enter the Royal Academy, so he could become a musketeer. Athos is one of the three guns, the oldest three guns. He is closer to d'Artagnan than other musketeers. Aramis is also a musketeer
