Crime is a serious problem in America. According to the survey, criminal activity is prevalent, and it is known that the influence can be felt at every socio-economic level. Every economic class has its own crime rate and type of crime. It is an error to regard a crime as a low level problem. Crime is a problem for everyone. The lower class commits the crime of survival, the upper class complements capital and commits sin to maintain control. The study also highlights that the middle class crime is the most popular and the lower class is getting worse.
The general criminal theory of Gottfredson and Hirschi (1990) provides an exclusive and reactive interpretation of the criminal decision-making process. According to general criminal theory, criminal decision is a function of two factors, low self-control and opportunity. It is highly likely that individuals with low self-management who have opportunities for crime are involved in criminal acts. General theory helps to clarify some important aspects of crime and crime, but that fact that many criminals intentionally seek and create rather than wait for criminal opportunities to be realized It does not take into consideration. (Albanese, 2000). This is why the general theory of crime is not a general theory, but one of the reasons for the author's argument.

The general criminal theory belongs to the criminal method quoted the most theoretically and empirically. Most studies that examined the theory of general criminal theory focused on the relationship between self restraint and illegal behavior. However, this chapter emphasizes the problem of self-control formation. In general, this chapter does not present an assertion to explain general criminal theory. Below, only those aspects of the theory related to answering immediate research questions are emphasized.
The theory of self-regulation of crime often referred to as general criminal theory is a criminal theory about the lack of individual self-regulation as the main factor behind criminal activity. The theory of self-regulation of crime shows that parents who are invalid before 10 years of age can not be restrained than individuals who are doing better parenting in the same age. The study also revealed that low level of self-control is related to crime and impulsive behavior.
Self-management theory is the most important element behind crime. In other words, individuals lack self-management ability. This is a more detailed discussion and explanation in "General Theory of Crime". In this book, Gottfredson and Hirschi argue that low self restraint is the root of all crimes and ultimately is the general theory of crime. They reviewed low reasons of self-control and explained about raising children claiming that they were condemned, so they thought that poor parenting leads to low self-control that leads to crime and low self-control is the cause of every crime . Criminal scholar Gilbert Geis analyzed the theory and discovered that there are many drawbacks in applicability to all crimes. Gas's praise tried to promote the theory to explain all the crimes, but he also said that "there is nothing more tragic than killing a magnificent theory through small facts" Praised.
