A Game of Equality

The king of Bingo is a short story written by Ralph Ellison originally published in 1944. The main character of the story is a game announcer, a lady roller who is dying with the king. Laura is a manifestation of African Americans pursuing equality. The king represents an ambitious African American. The bingo announcer represents a position where white people can not win. King Bingo's role is used to explain the situation of African-Americans in the early 20th century. In the story the bingo announcer shows the position that white people can not get.

Public product games are played in groups. The game starts with the same amount of each member account. As with many other games, the purpose of the game is to increase the balance of the bank. There is a "public good" account in the game. This is the account that each member is asked to provide. The amount charged to the public goods account adds a small random factor to reflect the profit obtained after investment. After that, the full amount will be evenly distributed among the members.
