Rosa Parks was born on 4th February 1913 at Rosa Louis Macquarie in Rosaski, Alabama. When parents James and Leona McCauley left the two-year-old Rosa separate, Rosa's mother, along with parents Ross and Sylvester Edwards, moved her family to the Alabama state pine level.
