The ghost world of the devil: Science as a candle in the dark I can clearly understand the reason why this book was rated as a five star. I found Sagan's book "The world of devil's ghosts: Science is like a candle in the dark." This is one of the most eye-catching books I have read for a long time. I doubt how wonderful this book is when this book is first presented to me. In my mind, I thought "I do not want to read books on engineering, I want to do engineering." But since the thinking process is still going on, I must admit that this book is worth reading.

The point she emphasized below is the eerie foresight of today. This does not mean that all science is correct. There are many mistakes in science, but in science we can examine the hypothesis framework through experiments and observations. None of our explanations, of course, has the last veto, but scientists are human (yes, yes) and their interpretation has emotional attachment.

The devil's world is a collection of essays by late Karl Sagan. Most of them are in danger of false science and anti-science. At the beginning of the book, Sagan was brought to the event by someone who wanted to talk about science, then talked about Atlantis, ESP, aliens and so on. Sagan's response was because there was no evidence. But in real science, there are too many exciting, more mysterious and big intellectual challenges. Does he know the constituents of life molecules that exist in the cold and thin gas between the stars? Have you heard of the footprints that our ancestors found on volcanic ash four million years ago? When India invaded Asia, the rise of Himalayas?

In Carl Sagan's "devil's world", Sagan re-recorded all related content related to abduction. He started his argument by reviewing the history the devil 's faith had spread, and the great philosopher of the day thought that his dream was written by the devil. Then, these devils are considered to "fall from the sky and engaged in illegal sexual meetings with women". (Pg 117) Sagan also announced his controversy about the Middle Ages again. He pointed out that these incidents "Satan is inner and shows what might be created in our head" (page 119). His support came from Father Poemen, early church. Fumi Poemen proposed: "Our own will will become a devil, and it is these demons that attack us." "The more you receive torture, the more you recognize magic, the more difficult it will be to keep the entire project fancy" (p. 121). "(Pg 133)
