A Day of Atonement: Jewish Holiday

One of the most important festivals of Judaism concerning Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement, meaning "Day of Coverage" (Molly). It is thought to be the most holy day of the year (daytime), the day closest to God (Chabad). There are many steps and rituals before and after Yom Kippur's celebration. On this day, before God is judged (wealthy), people can repent their sins, change the path they choose, and make a final appeal.

Yom Kippur: The 10-day Jewish Holidays after the Jewish New Year takes at a fast pace of 25 hours, from dusk to dusk of the next day. It is also known as the Day of Atonement, and the Jews seek redemption for God for the sins of the past. It is believed to be one of the most solemn Jewish holidays, synagogues are usually very crowded on this day (Hinnells 1991: 34). Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur - is considered to be the most important festival among Jewish beliefs. In Tishlay's moon (September or October of the Gregorian calendar) it will celebrate the 10-day reverence that is the reflection and confessions after the Jewish New Year. According to the tradition, on the Day of Atonement, God will decide the fate of all people and therefore urge Jews to seek for the compensation and forgiveness of the crimes committed in the past year.
