A Day At The Park

Unconsciously I was waiting for my life this day, but I realized this until that happened. That day was August 8, 1996, 25 days before my son 's first birthday. My favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers, played KC Royals in town. I used to dream of letting my son join his first ranger competition. My father who took his son to a baseball game is what Americans have to do and my son "go out to the ball game"; America's favorite pastime.

When I was a child my neighbor had a small park above the hill. In the summer, all the children play there and spend the day in the park. When I was young I went there to make new friends and show my talent to my nanny. I can be a new friend almost every day, I went to the park. I think that the Internet is as powerful as a public place. Thanks to the Internet, I do not only know Americans but also people in Germany, England, France. The Internet not only connects the community but also connects people from different countries with different cultures and backgrounds.
