Similarities between Oedipus and Odyssues From the beginning, epic stories have been handed down from generation to generation as a form of entertainment. Both Oedipus and Odysseus are regarded as heroes. Their behavior and personality are very similar. For example, both Oedipus and Odysseus are very suspicious of others as they are afraid of their own lives. Their suspicious character is not without reason.
