A Comparison of Homer's Odyssey and Oedipus the King

In the world of literature, there are many similarities and differences between them. Because the reader can learn them and understand thoroughly, these same points and differences are important. Two examples of this type of literature are the epic "Oedipus the King" written by Sophocles and Odyssey written by Russian poet Homer. There are many similarities between King Eddys and Odyssey. The most important and important similarity is that when we first encountered the poem, both epics were involved in conflict.

Homer's Odyssey (XI.271ff.) Included the earliest record of Oedipus myths when Odysseus met Jocasta (named Epikasted) in the underground world. Homer briefly summarizes the story of Edipsus, including Incest, Father, followed by Suicide by Jocaster. But in Homer's version, Edeps was still the king of Thebes after the Apocalypse, neither blind nor exile. In particular, the gods are said to know his patriarchal problem, and Oedipus is the king of Oedipus, Oedipus himself found the truth.

I make his journey more difficult. In Homer's "Odyssey" and Sophocles's "Oedipus the King", the difference between the epic hero Odysseus and Oedipus is slightly different. It is one hero and is not another hero. Edips is a more heroic being, and Odysseus does not agree or disagree. Odysseus is unique because it is not due to inhuman powers or special physical abilities to ordinary thinking, even among magnificent heroes. When people think of heroes, they usually think of "superheroes", but there are many other ordinary people who can do extraordinary things. The hero is a person who takes the initiative to undertake a company's growth trip. In this iconic journey, I truly discover myself and live better in my spirit and life.
