Comparison of dark center and secret agent Although this document is made up of two parts, its purpose is to find out from these investigation contents that these parts are related. In the first half I will introduce Joseph Conrad's lifetime and some of his work and in the second half I will introduce two works by Conrad "The Heart of Darkness" and "Secret Agent". In this article we start with two hypotheses. In other words, these two pieces of work include clearly identifiable similarities between stories, themes, and methods and Conrad's unique experience and perspective on these two pieces. There was a big influence.
Dark heart Joseph Conrad was born on 3rd December 1857 and was mainly educated in Poland. After the ocean career in the French and British waters, he wrote a short story and book with the main Jim, Dark Heart and Secret Agent. The dark heart of Joseph Conrad, written in the late 19th century, is a novel about a man entering the Congo Free State through the Congo River. The title "Heart of Darkness" actually has two different meanings. The dark heart is a metaphor of 'dark side' of human psychology, it is also a hint of Africa. Headings indicate physical and spiritual references. Africa was called the Dark Continent because the Europeans little knew during the novel period.
Joseph Conrad used the phrase "light and dark" to indicate many different points of the novel "dark heart" and the novel "secret co-owner". He uses these words to express the difference between good and evil. He also uses these terms to distinguish between civilization and civilization, the difference between solitude, isolation and happiness, and the sensitivity of craziness. There is no doubt that Conrad tells the characters in his story. In 'Dark heart', Conrad uses Marlow's "Personal repentance, deep consideration of the complexity of human morals" (a simple dictionary, p. 69) to explain the outline of the story. He obviously associates himself with Marlow's personality, because he wants to experience dark, pulmonary diseases and explore. (Page 69)
