Abstract: Palmajovanne died in Venice in 1628. According to many people, he was the last Renaissance master of the Renaissance. In less than 15 years, Carlo Ridolfi releases the lifetime of Tintoretto and Paolo Veronese as a trailer of majestic Maraviglie dell'arte, which appears in 1648. The first half of Le Maraviglie starts with Il 's biography Guariento. But in his heart he found a biography of Titian and Verona. The second part continues to report on the lives of Venetian painters in the first half of the 17th century, in collaboration with Tintrett. In this article, we explore the discourse process classically formed by using Ridolfi 's biography memorial in the 1640' s. It was then done by Marco Boschini 's Carta del navegar pittoresco in the 1660' s. The limit of Tintoretto in this magnificent epistemological structure will be the focus of analysis.
Abstract: Enrico Caterino Davila was a Venetian military leader of the 17th century, whose work "History of the Civil War of France" was published in Venice in 1630. This work quickly succeeded and many translations and versions were created. The focus of this research is to examine different versions of Davila's work. Initially, the introduction of the previous version highlighted the historical theme of the French religious war as a historical story. However, the last focus shifted from the historical theme to the role of Vera as a historian. Therefore, these versions provide valuable insight into the role of Renaissance historians and the views of the then Renaissance historiography.
