There are two different approaches that you can use when reading and investigating case studies. The first is an analysis method to examine the case structure to understand what happened and why. In this approach cases are analyzed to determine the main problem, the cause of the problem, and possible solutions. A qualitative case study approach was used as the objective of this research is to gain insight into the adaptation problems faced by foreign students studying in the southernmost city of the United States. The case study is the most appropriate qualitative investigation method for this study, "focusing on empirical knowledge of this case, carefully monitoring its social, political and other contextual effects". Ten participants were identified as international students studying undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the southernmost tip of the United States. Due to the convenience of sampling, the representation of this research is limited, but several demographic variables are controlled to generate more expressions. For example, participants come from various countries such as China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico.
