A Career in Medicine

Caring career in the medical industry With my experience at home, I was able to prepare for a medical career and grew up in an economically depressed area in San Francisco, my mother is my mother. I grew up without a father, I grew confidence and independence from a very young age. In order to help my mother's economy, I lowered my production track to high school. As a result, I can not enjoy the many activities that most young people like. But I am grateful for the resolve and inner strength I developed when I overcome the difficulties I encountered.

Michael: I participated in an event hosted by Johns Hopkins several months ago. This is a doctor's team asking these doctors why they decided to pursue a medical career. One of the doctors said, "This is due to the intimacy of medicine." He could not think of a situation where medical relations experts worldwide were closer than the medical field. Putting completely strangers and revealing their deepest and darkest secrets is something you can not think of outside medical or health professionals.

To answer this question, "Why, how, when, when and how do female doctors choose academic medicine," we interviewed female doctors in the academic medical world. We believe that this qualitative approach provides the ability to understand the meaning of the participants' experiences, so that interviews with women will provide new insight and enable a more detailed analysis of the factors driving academic career careers I will. After approval by the Institutional Review Board of the institution, we wrote a letter to the Women Contact Officer (WLO) of each AAMC member school in the central and south of the United States. This letter contains information on research and requests for a list of female doctor teachers in the facility. We also asked about female teacher's grade, race / ethnicity, and professionalism.
