A Career as a Musician

The process of selecting a career is a difficult decision many times. There are many factors to consider when deciding on a career. These factors usually include pay, workplace environment, and, most importantly, that this person is interested. Being a musician will be a very fulfilling career. It is because they like to travel in the country or the world for the opportunity of music such as expanding human musical ability, making personal things, teaching, performance, writing.

Profession as a musician has certain advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, a successful career that can be a musician may be what he really wants to do. People who are self-employed as musicians can also work by themselves. However, as a downside, most musicians do not have sufficient funds to support themselves or their families. They usually need to continue living and do a "daily work" to play music as a hobby or secondary income. Even those who can earn money from musicians feel that time is not that good. They mainly work at night and on weekends. Some of the successful musicians have to travel a lot for work. This usually makes them stay away from home and family for a long time.

In 1909, Handy created a campaign song for Edward Crump, who served as mayor of Memphis, combining the features of Ragtime voice and Bruce. In 1912 he published music under the name "Memphis Blues". It became Handy 's first hit song. Originally called Handy Southern Cross, it was the foundation of the popular blues after that. "Memphis Blues" sound developed by Handy attracts white and black audiences and has a great influence on many forms of American music.
