"In a sense, madness is an integrated form, people always sell the idea that people with mental disorders are suffering, but that is not that simple ... escape" (qtd.in "John Forbes Nash" For many "ordinary" people, the term "crazy" or "crazy" represents a negative meaning - unfortunate people "wearing" psychosis. However, John Foss Nash, an excellent mathematician who received delusional schizophrenia and the Nobel Prize, cherishes his own condition as a means to get rid of reality ("John Forbes Nash").
This is a PBS documentary on Nobel laureate John Nash and his battle against schizophrenia (especially paranoid schizophrenia). The film discusses John 's childhood and early work as a student before John suffered from schizophrenia. Then the movie explores multiple treatments for schizophrenia and Nash 's response to them. There is also an interview with Nash himself and his colleagues and family members, which will help explain the universal role schizophrenia can fulfill.
In the 2001 film "Beautiful Mind", I saw the brains of Nobel laureate mathematician John Nash. Nash is a concept of negotiation called Nash equilibrium, he is brilliant (not only schizophrenia). His insight on his view, in particular when to pay (or should not pay) for turning over, will continue to be applied to everything from nuclear weapons negotiations to transportation plans and football free pitching. I am not a mathematician. I am certainly not John Nash. This is not Nash equilibrium. But I humbly would like to make a small contribution to negotiation strategy: I call it a steak dinner clause. It may not change the flow of the world situation, but it may improve your next business transaction
This movie was based on biography of the same name in Sylvia Nassar in 1998. The main character Russell Crow is an excellent mathematician who suffers from schizophrenia. It captures the painful delusions experienced by Nash and the influence that he gave to his career while developing mathematical theory. Jack Nicholson has a romantic relationship with a single mother Helen Hunt. Helen Hunt is a friend of the gay artist Greg Kinnear. This movie shows how to deal with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Nicholson explained the fundamental symptoms of the disease, including the fear of contamination that might alienate the people around him.
