It is the second most widely used dialect because it is influenced by Egyptian movies and media throughout the Arabic-speaking world in various Arabic varieties. The position of Egypt in the center of the Arab world brings the opposite effect, and many words, phrases, proverbs are used from neighboring Arabian areas such as Maghreb and Mashrek.
