A Beautiful Mind Teaches us About Suffering from Schizophrenia

"Beautiful Mind" is a movie by Ron Howard, directed by Russell Crowe, based on the biography of mathematical genius John Forbes Nash. Jennifer Connelly plays John Nash's wife Alicia Lardo. John is a patient with schizophrenia. In 1994 he won the Nobel economics award, and he developed "game theory". This is a movie about how schizophrenia affects the function of this person and its family. We never know what the disease is like, but this movie is about to describe the experience of schizophrenia.

The "Beautiful Mind" movie is based on a case study of real mathematician John Nash suffering from schizophrenia. Various aspects of schizophrenia affect John Nash in various ways. These references are a small part of artworks consisting of stories, legends, and more and more work, or people with mental illness. Most of movies, videos, books, etc. on psychiatric disorders are created by people who have never experienced mental illness. For example, there are many books written by adult children who have parents who have parents with mental disorders. There are also many biographies about celebrities who are most often suffering from depression or bipolar disorder.

Recently, there are several movies depicting psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and conspiracy theory including beautiful mind. These movies describe the challenges faced by individuals with this psychiatric disorder and the damage they give to friends and family related to these individuals (Christopher & Shaun, 2002). The beautiful heart is a film about individuals performed by John Forbes Nash Jr., played by Russell Crowe, a mathematical genius and a promising future. A bright student (Jose, 2001). While studying at Princeton University, he studied with his classmates at the mathematics department. During his time at the local bar, his classmates are encouraged to fight each other, attract the attention of beautiful blonde women, and come up with game theory.
