An Analysis of the Epic Poem, Beowulf - Fame, Kingship, Fate and God in Beowulf

The Anglo-Saxon was a man who ruled the UK from the 5th century AD until the Norman conquered. They are people who value courage and leadership. They live under the king of the "golden guardian" and are protected by their faithful Tallinn (knights). Before the Norman conquistador came, it was a pagan culture. They believe in fate and believe that the only way to live forever is if you are famous. Anglo-Saxon's book, Beowulf has a mix of people. The role of Beowulf is defined by its state. Their status is their reputation and achievement. Beowulf is a very famous warrior of Sailor who headed to Denmark to kill monsters that were killing them. Throughout the story, Beowulf killed Grendal, Grendal's mother and dragon. Every time he receives more fame and glory. Beowulf became king. He is a great king and has received honor and loyalty from his men. But in the fight with Beowulf's Dragon, people fled, but Beowulf died. This book insists that Beowulf had a fate for him in the last fight with the Dragon, but also said that Beowulf has Christian morality. It makes the story more fun through two contradictory religions (infidels and Christians). The book consists of four main features: fame, kingdom power, fate, and God play a very important role throughout the book.
In Beowulf, anglo-saxon people are eager to become famous. For them, fame means eternal life. For example, the narrator states that "Beowulf is anxious to jump into the fight for fame" (Raffel 1529). The only reason Beowulf puts his life at risk is to fight him so that he can have his own fame and hence eternal life. Even if the characters become famous, they will fight for more than usual. After Beowulf became king, one of his servants said, "Beowulf, everyone, remember that the world boasted that there is nothing to destroy your reputation and fame Therefore (2586) Even though Beowulf is famous, he has to keep fighting to keep and maintain his reputation and must succeed.
Fate shows life at the end. Beowulf also is familiar with the notion of long-standing reputation of the land that Beowulf dominated. When he died, Beowulf received a compliment. At the end of the heroic poem, Beowulf is sad and continues to mourn while promising that his kingdom is always remembering him as an epic hero Beowulf. All of the above functions prove that Beowulf is a magnificent hero. Beowulf shows abilities and courage, a permanent reputation and fulfills his noble duties; all these personality traits indicate that Beowulf is a magnificent hero. By slaughtering Glendell and the Dragon, Beowulf showed his ability and courage to his people by showing his will and feasibility. As a result of the massacre of the dragon Beowulf knew that the result might lead to his own death, but he showed the characteristics of his noble duty. Because of his high reputation, the king provided Beowulf the kingdom that ruled it.
