Jackson County is a member of the Jackson County Recycling Partnership (JCRP). JCRP provides co-forums for counties, municipalities, waste transplants, and citizens to promote waste prevention throughout the county and reduce hazardous waste recognition, recycling, recycling and composting . The quarterly conference of JCRP is open to the public, and the county encourages the participation of citizens.
