9. Describe an experience when you taught someone to do a new thing

I taught my brothers to tie a few years ago, but I still remember it vividly as it was yesterday.

At first I thought it was a cake. Look, this will take less than 2 seconds. You do it without thinking automatically. It is as natural as breathing. So, I think it will show it once or twice, it will be done, but no such luck.

In fact, this is my biggest mistake. First of all, when we hurried out the door, I tried to teach him this job! Of course, my brother can not repeat after me. Finally, I am depressed. I can not figure out why I am angry

My mother told me that this process would take a month and that teachers and children's devotion and perseverance might be time consuming.

First of all, I understand that I must learn how to teach others. So, I saw some video tutorials showing different ways to teach the children to tie their strings.

Someone thinks that this seemingly simple action has many stages. After that, we start practicing for 5 minutes every day. Then divide this complicated task into small steps. Do not overwhelm your child.

At first I practiced taking off my shoes. I use two different color bands to help him distinguish One Lace from others.

We start from the beginning of learning. I told him how to pass the left end of the right end of the race, wrap one side, wrap the other, and pull the end to complete the knot.

When he finally succeeded, we turned to more complex tasks. I taught him to be a "ring" that looks like a rabbit's ear in his ears, and then crossed the two rings, wrapped the right side of the other wheel, grabbed two rings and tightened the knot I will.

I move forward little by little every day. Everything goes well when we do it together, but when you let him do it is terrible.

It is as if he had never practiced anything before. I need to lose my mood several times.

In my comment on Seidenberg's book I explained the fear I felt as a new teacher and I was not able to tell the first thing about teaching children how to read it so I am very into the teaching of the fifth grade I appreciate it. However, I found that my experience is no exception. This is the standard. I have a masters degree in basic education. That's why it's like a flight school that graduated for a while. So, I'm expecting myself to ask you this question tonight - what did the kids do all day? That's why answering this question is how you are doing "professional education". Think of it as a work that can be made professionally by ordinary smart people. That is what we are in the classroom and everything in the classroom.

Through years of school education, if you can explain something accurately in words, it is taught that you "know" it. This is a very limited understanding. It is the same as reading someone's surfing experience and knowing exactly what it is. Or, I read the flight manual of the airplane and assume that I know "how to fly" in order to "know" the contents of the book. The best thing we can do to explain enlightenment in our daily lives is to provide words exactly for our experiences. Perhaps for some people these statements stimulate their imagination and let them experience themselves to themselves. It seems like a good flight story to urge others to reach the sky.
