When children begin to want clothes that are not needed in a wardrobe every day, there will be problems in life. If your child wants pairs of shoes just because other kids seem to have them, they should use their own personal allowance to purchase. Sometimes it is ok to buy a cool dress for your child, but if you acquire the habit of becoming messed up every time you go to the mall they will start using your expenditure habits with you.
We will set guidelines on family expenditure. Are these allowances necessary for essential items such as clothing and school supplies? Or can you manage freely, such as buying toys and snacks? Even if children want to buy them with their own money, are there certain kinds of things prohibited? Even if the allowance is just "fun money", children can teach many things about budget, manage money, and teach how to use money to choose.
Parents do not buy it for their children, so they think they ought to buy something with their own money. If children spend money on expensive things and they have enough money for what they have spent all their money, this is their choice. I am very disappointed when I was young, unless I can buy what I want with the store. If we could do this, I could purchase better mobile phones, TVs and any other snacks I need on my own. Then my parents do not need to pay for what I want, they can save a lot of money for what I buy. Finally, how do the children drink medicine! I know people, I do not like to drink medicine or drink alcohol.
Since children usually buy things like games and candies, we think that children should be able to buy whatever they want with the hard-earned money we earn. What do kids do with medicine? Absolutely not. Children are still children Children want to buy things, but if you can not buy things, it is not so because you can not earn money.
Everyone should have some money that is their own responsibility. You might want to keep track of how your child spent. That does not matter. I am not talking about privacy here. Instead, I suggest that the children should decide how to handle their money (within a reasonable range). This is an opportunity for them to make mistakes, make wrong decisions and learn from them. There are various ways to spend money. I will show you the difference between a debit card and a credit card. Show them how effective you are when you borrow money, and it will work for you as you save. If you go on to university, you will be overwhelmed by credit and other simple expenditure methods (keeping the importance of tracking).
