6th Grade - Mrs. Goodell

Congratulations ... You succeeded! Welcome to Fulton Elementary School 6th graders and last year. You are ready to mark up! I hope that you are as excited as I am, let's begin this new school year. I am very pleased to be your teacher, and I am looking forward to having a happy and productive year together. Get ready to bring your "A" game. As a sixth grader in Fulton, you have a lot of expectations and responsibilities.

I would like to share something about myself. I am from Iowa state, but I stayed in Arizona for 30 years. I am married to my high school girlfriend Steve for 28 years, and we have four great children together. Megan is 26 years old and married her husband, Luke, a beautician of Scottsdale. Mallory (23 years old) is a child nurse, Mason got married to his wife Joselyn, 20 years old, married to GCU's junior, and Morgan is 18 years old and attends a university.

I have a bachelor's degree in primary education from Go Sun Devils of Arizona Sun University. I am teaching 4th graders, 5th graders and 6th graders and I want to go to work every day. Teaching is always my heart, and I am passionate about the education of young people. I value your opinion very much and I appreciate your support during this exciting academic year.

In my class, I work hard to promote a tightly integrated community. I believe in a safe environment. Throughout the year, I have worked hard to build a classroom where students think, respect, trust, and encourage belonging. I truly understand the difficulty of my work, and I am very interested in responsibility and compensation. I also believe that parents, teachers, and students must work to bring out the maximum potential within the team.

Fulton of this year met a teacher in room C-2 from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, July 19th. I hope that you will succeed. I would like to meet you before the beginning of the school year! I included a list of suggested items. You welcome to bring your supplies and pick your desk at Meet the Teacher.

Fifth grader: Mrs. Joseph (Indian) - The most harsh teacher I've ever met. I was recommended as a "conflict manager" for the elementary school sixth grade teacher, but I asked him to leave me from my list before my class. Learning knowledge 6th year: Mrs Kapy (White) - She is my 3rd and 4th grade science teacher, and my full time sixth grade teacher. I still remember volcanoes, butterfly habitats, owl particles. But more important is perseverance. I do not know yet how she handled a group of six-grade elementary school students who wanted to run yet. In addition, she has the most cute children, everyone will show up here.

My six - year - class social survey teacher is Russia. Sixth grade social studies have various themes such as Western civilization, government, understanding of current events, the world's major religions, and equity markets with imitated portfolios. The course varies from year to year, but it always starts in the same way. The first test we did in that year was a big map of the world, and the name of the country was replaced by a number. What we have to do is to identify as many countries as possible and write them on a piece of paper. Nobody anticipates how many of us can do it correctly - he said that he was just a student who just admitted to Canada and was okay. This exam is to evaluate our current knowledge.
