8:30 am - 9 am: Word search - When students arrive in the morning, they search for their desk, sit down and do keyword search of the school on the desk. This is also the time to participate in the morning and morning presentations.
9:00 am - 10:00 am: Tension on the first day - Students share experiences of brainstorming, tension, and intense experiences. Then I read the first horror day of Julie Dannyberg aloud. Students will then show their first day dithering experience using images to create posters and panoramas. They share with partners and groups, and some of them share it with classes
10:00 AM - 11 AM: Classmates interview - Students pair with partners and complete a Venn diagram between partners by asking a series of questions to learn more about each other. Then they will take turns to complete the frame comparison / contrast paragraph and introduce each other to the class.
11:00 - 12:00 pm: Rules and Procedures PowerPoint - The majority of my first day activities is to introduce my class on classroom rules, expectations and procedures. I did it through PowerPoint presentation.
12: 30 - 1: 30 pm: Valuation of region - There was a math rhythm guide in the school district. First we check the value of the area in the first week of school
1: 30 - 2: 00 pm: Science process skill assessment - Our science rhythm guide will allow us to review science process skills during the first week of school
2: 00 - 2: 30 pm: A wonderful journey to Teddy Bodain - this is Melissa Forney's book which I got in the session she wrote last summer. I will present the students with the history, reading, writing and grammar skills of Florida. This is a story written in a letter. You read the letter everyday, the activities of the letter are delayed
This is only a brief explanation of my first day of last year, but because there is a possibility that other things are going on at school, I usually over-plan, so it's all planned There is none.
The activities that students accomplish when I attend classes this morning are short stories of index cards about what I did during summer vacation. This event is called summer "short story", my colleague Mrs. Gonzalez introduced to me. Then the students trim the shorts and paste the index cards in the middle of the short cards. It became a bulletin board for returning to school soon in the classroom.
Wednesday, August 30 is the first day of school. On that day, IMS is operated on a special schedule, and in the morning only the elementary school 6th grade and the elementary school 8th grade Web leader goes to school. The new elementary school sixth grader holds a big welcome meeting, then divides into small groups and provides team building experience, then travel and lunch. After that, all the students of 6th, 7th and 8th graders begin at 11:20 am and finish the 6th class shortening schedule at 2:50 pm.
The timeline and schedule are suitable for all age and grade students for general 4th grade students who tend to be particularly anxious. I remember every day that I started competing in my 4th grade, stopped at my teacher's feet, and prepared for our daily reading. This predictability can help the fourth graders integrate into the production rhythm at school. Morning meeting, beginning a new day, consistently reading, writing, mathematics, science and other content areas, ending with a circle at the end of the day, so that the 4th graders can relax and focus on learning Create a predictable pattern of
As a member of the "high" grade of primary school, the 4th graders deepen their learning and skills and prepare for junior high school. Elementary school fourth grader is still considered elementary school student. In terms of development, most fourth grade students are still very children, they learn from the game and learn and grow in a warm and nutritious environment. However, the contents of most 4th grade courses encourage students to think, analyze and learn in a more complex and structured way. Teaching students deeply, teaching them to have relationships with what they read or learned, the structure of clarity, flow, and sentences is similar to traditional prose; and learning more complex concepts in all subjects I will. Furthermore, it is needless to say that students in the fourth grade of elementary school have not only teacher guidance, research, planning, but also changing work on their own.
