34th Ohio Valley History Conference

University of Tennessee Martin holds the 2018 Ohio Valley History Conference at 11 Wayne Fisher Drive, Martin, Tennessee, from 18th to 20th October 2018. Opening reception will be held from 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, October 18th at Dunagan Alumni Center (1900) Alumni Road).

OVHC is an open meeting to all historians and graduate students. We welcome all time and professional suggestions, including public history, digital history, and educational history. We particularly advise that the United States will participate in the 100th anniversary of World War I and the 41st year of 1968. The proposal can be submitted as a separate document or as a comprehensive group. We also welcome volunteers to act as chairpersons and comments.

Submission process: In the case of a group, please submit the group title of each participant, a summary of 100 words of each thesis, and a resume of 1 or 2 pages. For individual papers, please submit a 250 word summary and one or two pages of resume. Volunteers who organize meetings and provide comments should submit a 1-2 page resume showing interests and specializations. All suggestions are in the Word document and must include the affiliation and contact information of each participant. The submission deadline is Friday, June 29, 2018. Other information: The meeting includes a banquet on Friday night. The lecturer is Thomas Bruschino, associate professor at the Army War College of the United States of America, and introduces "From the Old World to the New World - The Moods - Argonne Movement and the Birth of the American Century". The meeting also included a luncheon on Saturday. I encourage you to see me at Santa Fe and attend the 34 th Annual Meeting of Indian Law titled "Return of Village in India". The first meeting was held last year. About 50 initial members are mainly interested in the history of indigenous peoples in the Ohio Valley. In 1966, the organization was reorganized into the American National Historical Society. The total number of members today is about 700 scholars, the annual circulation number of national history is about 1,500.

Scholars from the Department of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at Rio Grande University participated in the annual Ohio Natural History Conference hosted by the Ohio Biological Research Bureau. Two students presented a poster on the ground at a meeting held at the Ohio State History Center. As a part of the Rio Ecomonitoring Project, Professor of Wildlife Conservation Dr. Don Althoff said that he provided students with opportunities to participate in these targeted studies and expand practical learning.
