The Alabama driver can choose the license plate design to commemorate the state's 200th anniversary. Senator Arthur Orr, Chairman of the Adi Palma Bicentennial Committee, said: "This license plate shows that our people are proud of the achievements of our ancestors who have established our country status.
Establishment of Alabama celebrates the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Alabama. Alabama became the 22nd state of the Commonwealth on 14th December 1819. The stamp art is a picture taken at the Chiaha State Park at sunset. Alabama photographer Joe Miller took a picture from the park's Pulpit Rock Trail. In the prospect of Pulpit Rock, most of the area overlooking the lower valley is part of the Talladega state-owned forest surrounding the state park. The artistic director is William J. Gicker. Farm-City held three competitions, poster, essay and multimedia, and in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the state, the theme of 2018 was "Alabama Agriculture 200 Years". There are two types of poster competition, from kindergarten to 3rd grade and 2nd grade to 4th grade to 6th grade, one from seventh grade to ninth grade and the other from 10th grade to 12th grade. The multimedia competition is open to all students in Alabama state from grade 9 to 12.
