19th Amendment

The 19th Amendment to the Constitution of Japan (1920) stipulates that men and women have equal voting rights. The amendment stipulates that the right of referendum is "not rejected or deleted by the United States or any country for sex." The 14 th revision (1868) implies this equality, but most states continue to limit or prohibit women's suffrage

The women's rights movement that began in the early 1930s was intertwined with the fight against slavery abolition, so the 19 th revision proposal proposed by Congress in 1878 was proposed. The 19 th revision is a very important amendment to the Constitution as it gives the women the right to vote in 1920. As you can imagine, in the 15th amendment, the federal government or state government denies that the voting rights of US citizens are illegal. For some reason, this does not apply to women. The 19 th revision proposal changed this practice by treating all citizens illegally as a voting right regardless of gender.
