1940-1949 In the 1940s America, people were concerned about war. Life was nearly normal in the early 1940s before the war began, people talked about how the war broke out. Finally, at the beginning of the war most Americans' lives have changed. That man was recruited and elected to participate in the war. The sociological research of "casual class" of Veblen (1899) and its greedy consumption increase influenced the study of Sutherland (1940, 1949). Josephson (1962) created the term "fanatical aristocracy" in the 1930s and was a powerful scholar at that time. Therefore, research on Sutherland's white-collar crime seems to be consistent with conflict theory and reduces the degree of social conflict by forcing unauthorized behavior of privileged individuals as a normal crime obviously He thinks he needs it. This is consistent with Arrigo and Bernard (1997), which uses conflict theory to further explain the prosecution of white-collar criminals. Seron and Munger (1996: 187) stated that "The obvious fact is that in a new stage of capitalism the class is ruthlessly divided like the baron era of robbers."
