Contamination - For air, water and soil Gadamer, all these problems are the result of the division of contemporary ideas, and in the future we assume that the earth can be used freely regardless of our children, the earth itself I am doing. We must reaffirm our historical responsibility to the future of children by protecting the heritage of our children. The reckless chaos of exploiting the planet must be replaced by a responsible dialogue between the abuser and the Earth government.
Gadamer analyzed the problem with interpreting the text. It is necessary to clarify the meaning of the word "text" from the beginning in Gadamer's research. He observed that only artificial creations that prove their value through historical reinterpretation are worth presently explained (1989, p. 373 and 397). Therefore, in the case of Gadamer, this text refers to cultural heritage, which is part of the cultural tradition of "life". The historical reinterpretation of the text itself constitutes part of the cultural tradition. At the same time, they fill in the time distance between text and translation (Gadamer, 1989, p. 284). These facts are very important to Gadamer's theory.
Cultural Showdown and Compromise: Response of Non-Western Society to Western Political Ideas
According to Gadamer's view human beings inevitably belong to a cultural tradition due to limited history (1989, pp. 280 - 282). In other words, cultural tradition determines their attitude and behavior. This is because the cultural tradition is the root of human prejudice. Prejudice means "judgment made before all factors determining the situation are finally verified" (Gadamer, 1989, p. 270). Gadamer insists that humans are possessed by their prejudice. Prejudice not only constitutes their historical identity, but also allows them to experience the world (1980, p. 133). It is now clear that prejudice is a cultural resource that social actors respond to sentences. The sentences are cultural heritage of social actors and can be seen as information transmitted in the past. How do prejudices allow them to respond to this information?
