Since I tried to model my class, every year I learn new things and try to work in class. One year, I learned myself after reading a book about juggling. Many times I bring a box full of gadgets and general items (paper clip, rubber band, tape, push pin) and ask students (group) to take out 5 things. They need to invent something new, draw an invention, and write down the description of the invention and explain what it can do. Then I ask them to share their invention with the class. They want to do this. This includes making students make choices and making things.
