Search all articles related to "prosthetic brace" in the ISI Web of Knowledge database. This research is aimed only for searching articles containing prosthetic braces and related problems. A citation database is a scientific citation index (SCI - EXPANDED). The following keywords, single or combination, and their synonyms are used to find articles. Hand prosthesis, upper limb prosthesis, leg prosthesis, arm prosthesis, artificial arm, prosthesis, prosthetic prosthesis, prosthesis. Filter search results to exclude papers related to the implanted prosthesis. Litigation, editorials, letters are excluded. Articles published from 1980 to 2012 were searched. The ranking of the final filtered paper is at least quoted from the most frequent. The first 100 papers were entered into the Excel spreadsheet
Different time since publication, several articles are quoted more frequently than other articles. The citation index of each article was also decided to control the error. A citation index is defined as the average citation per year [3]. From the number of citations and the reference index value, 100 most cited articles are identified (Attachment 1: Table S1). These articles are categorized according to article specifications such as issue date, journal name, title, author name, organization, country etc. Data collection methods can be divided into retrospective, future, cross-sectional and longitudinal. Research designs are also defined as qualitative, quantitative, or mixed models [11]. We classify papers based on anatomical structures such as legs and upper limbs. In the case of upper and lower extremity prostheses, the items are further classified by prosthesis type including femorisal dislocation (TF), femoris rearrangement (TT), knee dislocation (KD), seams and lower limbs, and shoulder joint withdrawal (SD) . ), Trans radial (TR), trans radial (TH), dislocation of the wrist, partial hands of the upper limbs. Sackett's first evidence rule is used to score articles based on evidence level (Figure 1) [12].
Since there are several articles on the design and development of prosthetic devices without human clinical analysis, the sixth category was added to be called "design and development".
Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20 (SPSS Inc., Chicago IL). We compared the differences in alpha levels with 0.05 using Kruskal Wallis' nonparametric test. Descriptive statistics are quantified as the number or percentage of parameters.
Prosthetic appliances: During the First World War, the UK needed a lot of repairs to shift to standardization of mass production. Aluminum alloys are introduced as the main material of the prosthetic rather than wood. Today's prostheses are designed for individuals, many of which include microchips and robots. These functions are more like natural limbs than ever. Canned food: Canned food is not uncommon for World War I, but it can not always be eaten until it needs to be delivered to easy and mass-produced food in front of you. After the war, the bulk food manufacturing industry concentrated the ads on the troops accustomed to their on-site meals and the food they could not get at home. Therefore, these canned foods have gone into families
After these initial designs, the prosthesis suddenly advanced dramatically. Unfortunately, World War I and World War II, and other major conflicts such as Vietnam, increased demand for prostheses and improved. Replacement limbs can be made from state-of-the-art materials and are designed for a variety of uses. Even the most expensive limbs can even be controlled by thinking like real hands and feet. The progress since the wooden toe will continue to shock surprisingly and in the future.
Occasionally the most historically iconic revolutionary innovation success story in India is often referred to as "Jaipurfoot". According to the article "prosthetic brace in developing countries", the price of prosthetic brace in developing countries may be only a fraction of the price of US $ 5,000 - 15000 from $ 125-1875. Jaipur's feet can be completed within 3 hours with wooden interior, sponge and rubber protection case at less than $ 5. It may only take a day to attach to the prosthesis. The cross functional design can withstand the most demanding Indian terrain and lifestyle, users can purchase at a cost less than $ 20.
