During cancer treatment, the purpose of exercise is to maintain strength, endurance and function. The goal after treatment is to return to the previous physical and mental functional level. Aerobic exercise helps fatigue. Strength strengthening and resistance exercise helps to reduce muscle. It affects about 50% of cancer patients. Aerobics American Sports Medicine Faculty and Disease Control and Prevention Center recommend a combination of moderate intensity aerobic exercise, a severe aerobic exercise for 75 minutes, or an equivalent adult at least 150 minutes per week.
