This video is the second of the four video packages to solve how people become best self. From the process perspective, those who want to behave ethically should (1) recognize moral issues (see moral consciousness) when encountering moral issues, (2) demonstrate their ability to tackle problems in this environment You must have it. What is done is the right thing to reach the right solution (this video, ethical decision), (3) the desire to do the right thing (see moral intent), and finally (4) this intention It is possible to act according to. Moral behavior). The four videos in this package cover these four aspects of leadership ethics life. As the video says, these four steps were originally addressed by Professor James Rest and his colleagues, but adapted slightly from the four videos.
Moral recognition (recognizing the moral aspect of a particular situation) is the first step in the process of ethical decision-making (Jones, 1991; Rest, 1986). In other words, if people do not recognize that the problem contains ethical content, the moral judgment process can not participate. In business ethics literature, many studies on moral perception focus on the moral strength of the problem faced by decision-makers (Jones, 1991). This study most consistently shows that the two aspects of moral strength influence moral recognition (and moral intention). 1) Normative ethics allows individuals to directly see legitimacy and malignancy by relying on natural law. It is usually related to common law. Based on these assumptions, you can create an algorithm by replacing Kant's saying with Aristotle's virtue. Doing so makes it possible to conceptualize personality traits, then you can use a clear statement to explain the personal qualities associated with a particular ethical quality.
