The Youth Preliminary Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is the largest youth development program of the Department of Defense (DOD).

JROTC is a role and leadership development program for our national high school student. High school students enrolled in JROTC are called "trainees". Approximately 314,000 cadets were led by 4,000 retired Army instructors and joined JROTC in over 1,700 high schools

At JROTC, its mission is said to "encourage young people to be better citizens." To that end, we need education and education leaders to make these young people better citizens. The American high school JROTC program provides students with life changing skills and personality traits. JROTC will help many people become a great citizen of our community, and it is a good thing to have leadership skills, whether you are in the army or not. Because most of the job is responsible, looking for someone who can follow orders and orders, it also looks good on the job resume. This is a course that should be offered nationwide, even if you do not plan to go to the army.
