The Woolworths Education Program and MySchool Fundraising Program encourage your school to participate in our World Teacher Day event, a competition. The deadline for participating in the competition is September 13, 2013. Teachers, students, schools received a wonderful award!
Two awards will be awarded at each school in KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape Province, Eastern Cape Province and Gauteng State.
Ask students to write us a letter of 200 words or less to explain how their teachers changed their lives to participate in the competition. Submissions can complement your favorite teacher's photos, color drawings, or activities to join with your teacher.
"Teacher to make a difference" contest is a great opportunity to cultivate teacher's culture in the school community. Throughout the competition, you can let your learners and their parents know how your school teacher will positively influence their children's lives. It also plays an important role in recognizing teachers and increasing morale.
Most of us can recall and recall the teachers who change in their lives - teachers who read and think, play, and teach us to become a part of the community. At school, my first teacher was Miss Childs. I like kindergarten lessons very much. I built a great fortress, listened to stories, colored pictures, sliced oranges, and made friends. I like her class, so I want to be the first child on a school bus every morning. Miss Childs is a little bent from my age, but I am an old woman who is always witty and warm. She brings forth kindness, happiness, and love. What I do not remember is that she had weapons. Furthermore, I can not imagine that she shot a gun to shoot another child, a young adult, or someone else. When an individual is trying to kill other people, can you imagine the teacher we loved many years ago?
You can remember at least one high school teacher that everyone changed. I have two. My high school English teacher and my agricultural teacher. They helped me recognize my enthusiasm and bear responsibility for deciding my own life. They helped shape the people I am today. Most of the important lessons I have learned in class are not in my textbook. You share the details of your life and the lessons you learned in the process. It is exhilarating that it is not just a lesson in a book, but how it moves to the real world. Some are very interesting, others are very serious. However, they were useful at some point.
