“The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” Reconsidered: A Comparison of German, Canadian and Spanish Labour Migration Policies

In this article, we compare three immigrant countries that are fundamentally different both publicly and politically: Canada is said to be one of the most attractive destination countries for labor migration around the world . Finally, Spain is considered to be unable to implement an effective labor mobility policy with this system. However, in the context of the various political reforms adopted in these countries, this article considers this distinction to be increasingly inaccurate. This observation gained empirical support by analyzing the time design of labor mobility screening technology and labor mobility policy.

This report discusses the latest knowledge on temporary immigration in Finland and confirms the existing policy. We discussed various types of temporary migration policies such as labor migration, educational immigration, humanitarian immigration, irregular migration, family-based immigration. We show that in the context of Finland, the policy on labor mobility is primarily concerned with attracting skilled workers to the field of labor shortage. In addition, attempts have been made to adjust the seasonal movement of Berry Picker. In terms of educating immigrants, this policy emphasizes attracting international students and hopes that much of that will remain in Finland after graduation. Policies on humanitarian resettlement focus on control. Family-based immigration rarely attracts policy attention.
