There are many books available to English teachers to help students learn important information about literature. Laurie Halse Anderson's book, Speak is suitable for my 9th grade English and art programs. It covers not only many of the common state standards developed by Tennessee but also topics such as rape. Students should be aware of sexual harassment, depression, and bullying. These questions are important to the students to know what to do if you find themselves or someone you like in a similar dilemma.
I discovered that literary theory is a very useful tool, and I continue to acquire my doctorate on that subject: comparative literature and literary theory. In order to pass my PhD exam, we need to master the literary theory of more than 1000 years covering works of ancient to modern thinkers. In my academic research, I practiced these theories and used them to essentially make something different in texts. In many respects, the academic work I am doing is the same as the lawyer who filed the lawsuit. A fine lawyer can look at both sides of every case, build their own arguments, and look forward to the other side; the literary work I am doing is almost unchanged. Using the correct theoretical device, I learned how to claim that the text basically says what I mean.
In this course, we will address some basic questions raised in the practice of literary interpretation: What is literary text? What are the important tools and vocabulary that can be used to analyze literature? What has changed in the field of literary criticism over the past 50 years? How do you understand the relationship between the author and the reader of literature? When presenting these questions and trying to answer them, we discuss literary methodology and forms of literary criticism, including reader reactions, psychoanalysis, feminism, Marxism, and interpretive interpretation strategies. For this purpose, our main text - Hamlet of Shakespeare, Henry James Spin Spiral, Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Yellow Wallpaper and Art Spearman's Mouse - to show a variety of critical interpretations in the second paper It will supplement. school
Please note that the literary critic schools included here and their interpretation are by no means the only way to distinguish between these different theoretical fields. Indeed, many critics use more than two school tools for their work. Some people define various or very extended (very) generic statements shown here. Our explanation is only a starting point for your own investigation of literary theory. In order to learn more about these theories we recommend that you use the list of scholars and works provided to each school.
