"Shema Yisrael" from "The Suffering of the Innocents" by Kiko Arguello

The symphony of an attractive Catholic leader, "Innocent Safaring" by Kiko Arguero, is called "a gift for music to the Jews". Imagining that Jesus' mother, Mary, is crying with the Jewish mother at the Auschwitz concentration camp while watching the children being slaughtered. This work is the culmination of the 4th movement by Shema Yisrael. On May 5, 2015, a performance was held at Domus Galilaeae, the convention center near the Isetan Beititudes mountain. From here you can see the panoramic view of Lake Galilee. This performance was part of a conference organized by Kiko Arguello and his Catholic movement, Neocatechumenal, where rabbis and pastors, bishops and cardinals gathered from all over the world.

I showed you small music, and I would like to pay tribute to innocent suffering. Perhaps music can say something more deeply about such important topics ...? Innocent ... the pain pushed against the wall. The man lay on the street and was dying from a cold. The children are abandoned and placed in a terrible orphanage subject to violence and abuse. The woman I knew about her neighbor was abandoned by her husband, who was suffering from Parkinson's disease, and her mentally sick son beating her with a stick and begging for charity. No! This is not true! In this symphony, Mary is portrayed as a scandal that completely yields to the suffering of innocent people in his body. "Oh, it hurts so much!" While the voice was singing, united with all the mothers who saw that the sword had stabbed her soul and the children were killed in concentration camps, while crying Shema Yisrael sang. I would like to make this work a bridge of love and reconciliation. 1
