A good writer knows at least how the sentence works. Good authors can keep on telling stories without getting tired of readers. Good authors know when to stop bad ideas and how to produce great ideas. A good writer knows how to make your story work effectively in the minds of the reader. I recently read two short stories. Both are science fiction, both of which are very well written. One is about time travel. "The Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury is about a man who wants to shoot tyrant Rex, Eccles. But the temperament of this foolish man is not as flexible as he originally imagined. When he saw the biggest beast for the first time ... See more

I think that most people respond to this story in the same way. This makes me wonder what will happen if someone returns to the past and accidentally killed the Caterpillar. For "Nether Grove", I think that teenagers and young people are very relevant. When a child is bullied or ignored by a family member, he or she will look at various types of comfort systems. The very common comfort system I have seen is an online computer chat site and game. But in our time it is too strange, more people will be associated with the Voice of Thunder. More roles are involved, and there are more situations in which you invest yourself. Needless to say, people born before the generation of computers do not understand the need for Jeremy to chat online in the story, as the Nether Grave does. To be honest, I tried my best when Travis asked Eccles to collect bullets from the monster's neck. I tend to make people do things to gain my forgiveness and trust. There are four different types of people that can be easily associated with this story. Just like the other two people without names, do something what he or she told me. Travis, boss, head. He is in a bad mood and can hardly control. Lesperance is a tolerance to think before he does something. He even hampered Travis from leaving Eccles in the past. Of course you also

Technically, "The Sound of Thunder" is better than "Nethergrave". In "Nether Grove", the computer was technology, it was not until the end of the story. "The Sound of Thunder" uses a time machine. This is an excerpt from this book - "1999! 1997! Go! Go and the machine will grow ..." (Bradbury pg. 289). This indicates that the time machine is included in the story. However, "Nethergrave" uses computers as a major part of technology. This is also part of the story - "Two technical brains will carry a brand new computer ..." (Skurzynski, p. 316). The computer feels like what was left, it only shows its importance at the end of the book. That's why I know that "Thunder Sound" uses more technology

"Nether Grove" and "Sound of Thunder" are funny SF stories. In my opinion, "Thunder Sound" by Ray Bradbury is more exciting than "Nethergrave" by Gloria Skurzynski. Thanks to "The Sound of Thunder" I sat down beside the seat and wanted to know what I could do to change the future. "Nethergrave" is like a slow story rather than an exciting one. Both authors have incredible imagination in writing these stories, and in a sense have insight into the future. Bradbury explains how time machine should be, and for me it is easy to imagine as he explained it. When Eccles saw the time machine for the first time, "He looked like he saw the turmoil of the sound, the twist of the wire and the steel box, I saw an orange silver flashing and the blue aurora" (P.288) In 'The Sound of Thunder', you can almost feel the fear of Eckel when he finally saw a huge TRex
