Clash's third studio album "1979" The Call of London "is definitely one of the biggest musical accomplishments in the late 1970s and can be said to be the most important contribution of punk rock to rock music. People who regard punk as a genre have also been acknowledged to be mainstream among music critics - Rolling Stone magazine has included this album in the list of the 500 best albums ever. "London Call" is full of genre (and genre style) material and excellent songwriting composition, but in particular the music stands out really as the most predictive, memorable and influential track of the album.
