Unique mythological paintings from the Renaissance of Florence, and the first non-religious nude, Nascita di Venere, from the classical era, belonged to Sandro Botticelli in the 1880s (1445 - 1510). A group of mythical paintings painted after the completion of the three mural paintings for the Roman Pisces Cis IV in the Sistine Chapel, he returned from Rome. Other myths include Pallas and Centaur (around 1482, Uffizi Gallery in Florence), Venus and Mars (1483, London's National Gallery), and La Primavera (June 1484, Uffizi). Like these works, the birth of Venus (1484 - 86) is one of the deep treasures of the Florence Renaissance.
