“Exploration on Effects of Racial Disparities Upon African American Identity and Economic/Social Standing In Mid-19th Century America

In the early nineteenth century, serious problems of racial discrimination and inequality of African-American citizens bore the social, political and economic structure of the United States. This period after the reconstruction period restored the control of the original white supremacist to the south. It also led to the execution of Jim Crow's law and reduced the ranking of leading black citizenship. Although the situation was finally improved, the Negro still succumbed to prejudice of the times and was abused in the workplace.

In this lecture we will broadly understand the political, social, economic and cultural history of the United States in the mid-nineteenth century and will explore the cause of the civil war and the influence it has on the development of the United States. The main topics include slavery and ethnic relations (North-South), class relations and industrialization, organizing political party politics, and changing concepts and the use of government power. In the first half of the century before the Second World War, the United States became an industrialized urban society with domestic market and media. This course details the most important changes and how they relate. We will also consider immutable content and sustainability of state and local priorities in various fields.
